1) TEAMS
i) Shall consist of no more than 4 players in one team
ii) Squads may have an unlimited number of players, however players can only be on one squad in any given season
2) EQUIPMENT
i) Only a single deck of cards may be used (agreed on by both teams)
ii) One dealer button (To indicate wher the cards are dealt to and the first "pair" to act)
iii) 4 Action Markers (To indicate who is acting first between the acting pair)

3) THE GAME - The golden rule....players are only playing against their opposing team member
i) 4 Players from two teams play opposite each other at any one time (as shown in the diagram)
ii) Players are seated so that they are opposite, and next to an opposing team member (Alternateing Red / Blue).
iii) The Dealer button starts at Blue Team, Player 1, with cards being dealt in a clockwise action.
iv) The team holding the Dealer button places a small blind, with the opposing team placing a big blind.
v) Action starts at position 1, and is strictly between the opposing players.
vi) At this point there will be a pot between players B1 and R1.
vii) Once action at seats B1 and R1 has ceased, action then moves to B2 and R2, who create their own separate pot as per seats B1 and R1.
viii) Action then moves on to the next acting pair, who again, create their own pot.
ix) At this point there should be 4 (four) separate pots.
x) The turn and river are dealt in the same way.
xi) Showdown is as normal heads up poker.
4) THE BUTTON
i) After each hand is played, the button moves clockwise, and a new hand is dealt with blinds being posted appropriately.
ii) (It should happen that teams will post alternate blinds).
iii) e.g. In the above example action goes... 1-2-3-4 in the next hand action would be 2-3-4-1 then 3-4-1-2 and so on.
5) WINNING
i) When a player has taken all the chips from their opposing team member, they are awarded 1 (one) point.
ii) Chips are then evenly redistributed between the two players and play carries on as before.
iii) In the last round (Third Blind Level) players who take all of their opposing team members chips are awarded 2 (two) points.
iv) At the end of the game if a player has more than 75% of the chips in play (3000 or more) then they claim a win for 2 (two) points.
v) Between 25% and 75% (1025 - 2975)
and each player is awarded 1 (one) point for a draw.
vi) 25% or less and the player is classed as losing, and gets no points.
6) FINAL SCORE
i) At the end of the third blind levels individual points for each team are added up.
ii) To claim a win, a team has to be 2 points clear (e.g. 3-5 or 9-7) this awards the respective team 3 league points.
iii) Within 2 points of each other (3-4 , 11-10, 15-15 etc) is a draw and each team is awarded only 1 league point.
iv) Losing teams gain no points for their league position.
7) DEALER DEALT - SELF DEAL
i) In many cases it will be easier to self deal, at which point the dealer button indicates who should be acting as the dealer
ii) In dealer dealt games the dealer is normally seated between Blue 2 and Red 3
